Querying and analyzing data
Connect the analytics service, spreadsheet, or other data source. Use read-only access unless the task requires a specific write.
Calculate weekly activated workspaces for the last 12 weeks. Use production analytics data. Define activation, show the query, include weekly counts, and report missing data. Do not write to the source.
Define the question
Section titled “Define the question”State:
- The decision the result supports.
- The source, environment, and time range.
- Definitions for important terms.
- Required segments, comparisons, and exclusions.
- The output format.
If a term has several possible definitions, ask the agent to show them before it selects one.
Require reproducible work
Section titled “Require reproducible work”Ask for the query, formula, or transformation. The result must separate observed values from assumptions. It must explain missing or filtered records. A chart must include the units, time zone, and source.
Do not treat a failed query as evidence about product health. Confirm the connection, environment, schema, and role first.
